We believe these groups to have similar values to ours, but can not assume any liability or claim to know exactly how the operate. Please, always take time to get to know who you are dealing with, how they operate, and what they stand for. We are none of us perfect

Habitat for Humanity sends Global Village teams to different countries around the world. These teams provide participants with the opportunity to help build houses, while experiencing another culture. You build a house alongside local volunteers which gives you many opportunities to build relationships with these people. Team members help to build a true “global village” of love, homes, families, communities and hope.
Marine Reach, as a ministry of Youth With A Mission  is dedicated to linking resources with the needs of people in the smaller, more isolated island communities of the South Pacific. Equipped with an ophthalmic and a dental surgery and able to accommodate small teams, The M/V Pacific Link is based in Fiji, reaching out to the people in need.
Noonsite aims to provide a one-stop website featuring essential information on all matters of interest to sailors planning an offshore voyage anywhere in the world, whether already underway or still in the preparatory stages. They do a great job of it as well! Run by the legendary Cornell family.

 

Boaters for Books is a volunteer community of cruisers and boating enthusiasts committed to raising the level of literacy among young people in the Caribbean. We encourage all to lend a helping hand as we collect and distribute new and used children’s books to young people in the Caribbean Islands. Even the donation of books to this 501c3 organization  can be tax deductible!
